Sunshine Place collaborates with Sir Jen Consumido for a Watercolor Workshop for Beginners every Tuesday from June 11 until July 16, 2024, 1:30 -4:30 pm.
This course will introduce watercolor as a fine art medium. Throughout the 6-session workshop, activities will focus on the familiarization with watercolor and its essentials, along with using the right materials to produce the best output. This beginner-friendly workshop will introduce its students to the fun art of watercolor painting and help discover their untapped creativity through hands-on learning.
This workshop is open to 7 years old and older. A starter kit containing watercolor set, brushes, drawing pencil, kneadable eraser, palette and watercolor paper is available at the venue.
Consumido is a self-taught artist who does his work in every medium available, but is presently attached into watercolor painting. Through the years, he strived to learn and hone his visual skills by continuously exploring and practicing every technique there is. Up to these days he keeps on exploring and experimenting as he believes that the art is a continuous learning process, as in any other field of practice.
He shares whatever knowledge and skills he has acquired through workshops and tutorials. He also takes part in promoting watercolor as a fine art medium.
