Sec. Dizon Hails JoyRide’s Super Taxi at NAIA T3

Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon lauded ride-hailing app JoyRide for providing accessible airport transfer services at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 through seamless transport solutions at the country’s main gateway.

Sec. Dizon on Thursday visited the JoyRide Super Taxi Lounge at NAIA Terminal 3, where he witnessed firsthand the newly-launched airport transfer service that has been garnering positive attention since its rollout last December 2024.

The transport chief cited JoyRide’s Super Taxi Airport Edition Lounge for its convenience and accessibility for passengers, especially frequent travelers, as it allows them to save time and reach their desired locations promptly and as comfortable as possible.

“After hours of flying, airport passengers are already tired. ‘Yung iba diyan pagod na at gusto nang makauwi nang komportable at mabilis upang makapagpahinga. The addition of JoyRide Super Taxi service will streamline airport transfer services for our passengers making their travel more comfortable and faster,” Sec. Dizon said.

After being briefed on the operations and personally simulating a transaction at the JoyRide Super Taxi Airport Edition Lounge, Dizon commended the Super Taxi service for its streamlined book-and-go system – requiring no app downloads – as a big help in decongesting airport arrival zones and providing much-needed transport alternatives for travelers.

This seamless experience is supported by the company’s dedicated fleet of Toyota Veloz units and drivers stationed at Terminal 3 ready to ferry passengers upon completing a booking.

Dizon likewise expressed gratitude to the ride-hailing service to offer a flat rate discount to returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who avail of their services.

“Our OFWs are our modern-day heroes. Dapat lang natin silang parangalan sa kanilang pag-uwi dito sa atin. Nagpapasalamat tayo sa JoyRide dahil isa ito sa mga paraan bilang pagkilala sa kontribusyon ng ating mga OFW,” he said.

The transport chief expressed hope that the similar service will be expanded to NAIA terminals 1 and 2.

Launched in partnership with the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC), the JoyRide Super Taxi Airport Edition offers travelers instant access to high-quality airport transfers, with no mobile app downloads required. Passengers arriving at Terminal 3 can walk into the Super Taxi Airport Lounge, receive a fare quote, and immediately be assigned a vehicle and a professionally-trained driver. A pre-booking option is also available via the JoyRide Superapp under the Hatid-Sundo Airport Service.

Each ride is monitored via GPS and dashcam, with round-the-clock oversight by JoyRide’s concierge and operations team to ensure safety and efficiency.

In response to the Secretary’s remarks, JoyRide Senior Vice President for Corporate Affairs Noli Eala expressed gratitude and reiterated the company’s mission to elevate the Filipino commuting experience.

“We are very thankful for the opportunity that NAIA has given us to provide our JoyRide Super Taxi Airport Edition Airport Transfer service, as we are honored by Secretary Dizon’s visit and truly encouraged by his kind words,” Eala said. “JoyRide has always believed that accessible, reliable, and comfortable transportation should be the standard, not the exception. With the Super Taxi Airport Edition, we’re offering exactly that, and we’re proud to be part of the broader effort to uplift NAIA.”

“This initiative reflects not just our commitment to better service, but our belief in public-private partnerships that work. We look forward to expanding the service to more terminals and eventually to other airports nationwide,” he added.

The JoyRide Super Taxi Airport Edition is currently available at NAIA Terminal 3, with expansion plans already in development. As JoyRide continues to work closely with various stakeholders, the company remains focused on its vision of modern, inclusive, and people-first mobility for all Filipinos.
