Laguna University-RDC spearheads 2nd Regional Research Conference

Through its Research and Development Center (RDC), Laguna University (LU) conducted the 2nd Regional Research Conference with the theme: “Resilience through Innovation: Navigating the Future in Education, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, and Digital Technology” participated by over 260 attendees from 17 colleges and universities in Luzon, held via Zoom on 30 April 2025.

The event was designed to advance the role of research in building resilience and fostering innovation for a sustainable future, specifically aimed to showcase ongoing research by providing a platform for participants to present their latest studies and findings to a regional audience; and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by encouraging discussions and exchanges among researchers.

Not to mention learning about the latest trends and advancements in sustainability and innovation; and establish research partnerships and networks by facilitating connections among the participants.

The research conference consisted of two categories: teaching and non-teaching professionals and students. Each category has four parallel sessions: Computing Studies and Engineering, Education, Business and Management, and Social Science and Communication.  

Said sessions were joined by reactors and moderators who are experts in their field of discipline, after which certificates were given to winners for Best Research Presenters, Best Research Papers, and to all participating schools by LU-RDC Director Dr. Marie Joy Q. Elomina.
