Manila, Philippines — PUMA pushes the streetwear scene to new heights with an immersive event, at LAYER 41 in Seoul, South Korea last May 15, to celebrate the launch of the brand-new PUMA H-Street. A reimagining of a sprint classic, the PUMA H-Street is posed to accelerate the low-profile sneaker trend, with PUMA right at the helm.
Sprint Speed Meets Style in Seoul
The PUMA H‑Street event in Seoul is part of the Future Archives activation, a high‑design, culture‑driven series that honors the brand’s low‑profile silhouettes by archiving heritage while propelling culture forward. Open to the public beginning May 16 to May 18, the four-day activation centered around styling, music, and design.
PUMA teamed up with Korean cultural figureheads, including Cold Archive, Inside Tag, and EyesMag, as well as other local partners. The event took on a futuristic, gallery-inspired setup with reinterpreted track-and-field elements in honor of the PUMA H-Street’s running heritage. The space was enhanced with music curated by Ring Seoul. Known for its immersive sound experiences, Ring Seoul is a community-driven space rooted in the city’s post-pandemic club culture.

The PUMA H-Street launch is part of the Future Archives activation, created in partnership with Korean cultural figureheads.
“Following our Mostro House at Paris Fashion Week, we are excited to bring this unforgettable brand experience to Seoul, where we want to continue to cement our footprint in the fashion and streetwear space,” said PUMA Brand and Marketing VP Richard Teyssier. “The H‑Street is the latest addition to our strong, low‑profile portfolio, and there’s no better stage than Seoul to debut it.”

The event successfully brought together collaborators and friends of the PUMA family to create and showcase their work. Among the guests spotted at the event were Filipino fashion-forward couple David Guison and Angelique Manto, Thai actor Win Metawin, “Weak Hero 2” and “When Life Gives You Tangerines” Korean actor Lee Junyoung, “Squid Game” star Jo Yuri, Korean actress and style icon Cha Jungwon, K-Pop superstars Juyeon of The Boyz, Yeji of ITZY, and PUMA ambassador ROSÉ of Blackpink.

The PUMA community came together for the highly anticipated H-Street launch event.
“The opening night was a massive success. It was incredible to see so many familiar faces from the PUMA community show up and support this moment,” remarked PUMA Sportstyle Global Marketing Director Christina Mirabelli. “It just felt special,” Mirabelli said about seeing the guests explore the event space and the different ways they made the H-Street their own.
Sprint Staple, Reimagined
First introduced in 2003, the PUMA H-Street makes its comeback this 2025. The latest addition in PUMA’s collection of low-silhouette sneakers fuses its sprinting roots with streetwear DNA. It draws inspiration from the classic running spike of the 2000s, the PUMA Harambee, which took its name from the Swahili word meaning “pull together.”

PUMA H-Street adds momentum to PUMA’s low-profile sneaker collection.
After putting low-profile silhouettes in the spotlight with the Speedcat and the Mostro, PUMA now continues to drive the trend forward and cements its position as a trendsetter with the return of the PUMA H-Street. Available in OG Fizzy Green/PUMA Silver and Frosted Ivory/PUMA Black and Silver, the 2025 iteration of the timeless streetwear staple features a lightweight upper, a classic, low-profile silhouette, and keeps its street legacy intact. The PUMA H-Street calls back to the zeitgeist of the 2000s, when track and field crossed over to the streetwear scene.
Following its successful launch in Seoul, a limited drop of the PUMA H-Street is expected to make its way to the Philippines this June.

The PUMA H-Street in OG Frizzy Green/PUMA Silver is now available in the Philippines in limited quantities.
