PEZA Officials Visit Foundever Baguio to Spotlight, Exchange Insights on Innovation and Regional Growth

Senior officials from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) and other government agencies visited the Foundever® in Baguio to explore how the global customer experience (CX) leader is contributing to the region’s economic development and embracing innovation in business process management.

The delegation was led by PEZA Director General Tereso O. Panga and included key government leaders: PEZA-BCEZ Zone Administrator Atty. Abdullah Adel-Khan P. Alug, Department e Agriculture Undersecretary Allan Q. Umali, NEDA Director Richard Ballester, DOST Assistant Secretary Maria Teresa de Guzman, and several PEZA zone heads. Their visit aimed to gain insight into Baguio’s industrial landscape and to better understand how companies like Foundever are driving impact in economic zones.

Procurement Director Ana Vides offered a closer look at the company’s advancements in artificial intelligence, emphasizing how AI is being used to augment performance, improve employee experience, and deliver smarter, faster service for clients.

Workplace Experience Senior Manager Jeff Hilario followed with a presentation on the nationwide presence of Foundever, underlining the company’s role as a major employer in the country’s key cities and its consistent investment in workplace excellence.

Senior Site Director Vida Haboc closed the discussion by presenting key performance data from Foundever in Baguio, underscoring how the company contributes to local employment and economic activity. She emphasized the company’s ongoing efforts to create long-term opportunities for the region’s talent pool.

The visit concluded with a tour of the Baguio facility, giving PEZA officials a firsthand look at the company’s operations and workplace environment.
