FFCCCII to award winners in the PHL-China TikTok video competition

The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) will proclaim the winners to its Philippines-China Tiktok Video Competition this July 5, Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Summer and Autumn Ballrooms of Luxent Hotel in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.

This was announced by Wilson Lee Flores, owner of the 88-year-old Kamuning Bakery, who said that “the winning videos will showcase the vibrant milestones, shared history, and dynamic partnership between the two nations through the power of digital storytelling.”

FFCCCII Pres. Victor Lim said the awarding ceremony is in celebration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and China.

“The awards will recognize the most creative and impactful TikTok entries that highlight the enduring friendship and collaboration between the Philippines and China,” Lim explained.

He added that the FFCCCII will give awards to TikTok videos—produced by individuals aged 18 to 35—that “center on key milestones in the 50-year diplomatic relationship between the two countries that inspire unity and showcase the vibrant future of Philippine-China relations.”

Prizes include ₱100,000 for the grand winner, ₱50,000 for second place, and ₱30,000 for third. Ten consolation prizes of ₱10,000 each will also be given, along with three special citations worth ₱20,000 each.
