Foundever® in Baguio and DSWD Empower 4Ps Case Managers as Effective Communicators and Negotiators

Foundever® in Baguio, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development – Cordillera Administrative Region (DSWD-CAR), successfully conducted a Communication and Negotiation Skills Enhancement Training for forty-five city and municipal case managers of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) from across the CAR. The training was recently held at the Ovemar Resort Hotel in Sta. Catalina, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur.

The four-day program equipped DSWD 4Ps case managers with essential communication and negotiation skills, enabling them to foster stronger collaborative partnerships and achieve more effective outcomes in serving their communities.

“The primary objective of this training was to equip them with the proficiency necessary for effective communication and negotiation. By fostering these essential skills, we aimed to empower participants to build collaborative partnerships and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes, ultimately enhancing their effectiveness in serving the communities they support,” said Joy dela Cruz, Sourcing Director from Foundever.

Participants were trained in communication strategies, enhancing their ability to engage with stakeholders clearly and empathetically.

They were also taught negotiation techniques, enabling them to facilitate constructive dialogues and mutually beneficial agreements. They also underwent a personality development session, aimed at building their confidence and boosting professionalism in their roles.

DSWD-CAR expressed gratitude for the collaboration, saying the training will allow their case managers to serve 4Ps beneficiaries with greater efficiency and empathy.
