On August 1 and 2, Manila hosted a special event for the Filipino esports community called VeeWise Pubstomp, dedicated to the global tournament Esports World Cup 2025 in Saudi Arabia. But this was more than just a viewing party. It became a full-on fan experience built around the iconic Mobile Legends: Bang Bang duo Vee and Wise.
Organized with support from 1xFest, the event stood out as one of the brand’s most exciting activations in Southeast Asia this year.

The venue was set in Manila, one of the most passionate cities for MLBB in the region. But this event went far beyond just watching the games. The entire space was designed to reflect the unique personality and energy of Vee and Wise, with anime-inspired visuals, immersive lighting effects, hero symbols, and a creative zone that brought the MLBB world to life.
Vee had nearly 900 thousand subscribers on YouTube, while Wise had over 550 thousand. On Facebook, their pages reached 2.6 million and 1.8 million followers. As legends of the local MLBB scene, they naturally became the central figures of the event and instantly drew fans’ attention.
Two types of tickets were available. A standard ticket cost about 6.5 US dollars per day or 11 dollars for both days. It included access to the venue and participation in all offline activities. A VIP ticket was priced at around 8 dollars per day or 14 dollars for both days. It offered priority entry and seating, access to the VeeWise showmatch activity, and three spins at the merch machine. The event welcomed around 200 attendees per day, creating a lively but comfortable atmosphere for everyone.
Several interactive formats kept fans engaged throughout the weekend. The main highlight was the MLBB Showmatch, where VIP players took the place of Vee and Wise in the game. The event was also attended by Mark Mugen, 1xFest ambassador, who participated in the match.

MLBB Quiz was a fast-paced trivia game where participants, solo or in small teams, answered questions about MLBB heroes, skills, game history, and facts about Vee and Wise. Each round included five questions. Winners received exclusive merch.
VeeWise Karaoke was an open mic activity where guests performed fan-favorite songs and joined in fun karaoke battles. It took place during breaks between third-place matches and was designed to get people on their feet, filming and sharing the moment.

VeeWise Pubstomp wasn’t just about watching the Esports World Cup. It was about being part of something bigger. It turned into a weekend of energy, content, and community. Thanks to the support of 1xFest and the legendary presence of Vee and Wise, Manila truly became the heart of MLBB fandom for two unforgettable days.
