Klook doubles down on domestic growth through partnerships with local tourism companies
SEPTEMBER 15, 2025 | PHILIPPINES – Over 200 tourism merchants from all over the country attended the first Klook Partner Awards in the Philippines. The event, hosted by Asia’s leading platform for experiences and travel services, celebrated the achievements and collaborations that Klook achieved alongside local tourism industry players.
“We’re very proud of the amazing progress we’ve made together with our partners in creating an even more vibrant tourism industry for the locals and the growing population of tourists from all over the world,” said Eric Gnock Fah, President and Co-Founder of Klook. He dedicated the event to Klook Philippines’ merchants, crediting them for the unforgettable memories the customers have made using the app. “This event was organized to celebrate the operators on the ground that deliver all these amazing experiences and services to travelers locally and around the world,” shared Gnock Fah.
Scaling the contributions of Klook’s merchants into solid data, Michelle Ho, General Manager for Klook Philippines, highlighted the company’s success and impact of the valuable partnerships formed thus far, “Thanks to our merchants, specifically our steady success in attractions and our growth in the hotels and mobility categories, Klook Philippines has become the number 1 most trusted travel app in the market, covering over 99 cities.” Promising for both the travel platform and the country’s outlook, Ho shared that Klook remains bullish in its positioning and efforts to promote domestic tourism by building new networks and deeper partnerships. “Klook’s numbers and position in the industry tell us that our strategies are well-aligned with the market,” Ho expressed. “It’s a true indicator that the efforts we’ve launched and soon to kick off are steps toward a reinvigorated tourism landscape,” Ho expressed.
“Your dedication, creativity, and commitment to excellence inspire us to keep moving forward in our mission to make the Philippines a globally competitive, sustainable, and meaningful tourism destination,” shared Sharlene Zabala-Batin, Assistant Secretary for Tourism Digitalization and Resource Generation of the Department of Tourism, thanking the merchants. Recognizing Klook’s efforts to further domestic tourism, “Thank you for being a steadfast partner of the department in innovation and collaboration – for creating opportunities that benefit our travelers and our communities,” Zabala-Batin added.
With 16 winning categories, a total of 42 Filipino companies were recognized for their outstanding performance, showcasing the beauty of the Philippine islands and executing successful collaborations with the travel platform.
Ecstatic about their win in the Best of the Philippines – Attractions category, Enchanted Kingdom’s Chief Operating Officer, Cynthia Mamon, thanked Klook for its long-standing partnership. She recalled the beginnings of their collaborations, “When Klook approached us, we grabbed the opportunity because we immediately felt that we were dealing with a very reliable partner.” Mamon shared that through the years, the partnership has continuously grown stronger and mutually beneficial.
Following The Henann Group of Resorts’ win in the Best of the Philippines – Hotels category, Karl Hendrik Chusuey, the company’s Group Vice President, doubled down on the importance of innovation in every stage of the business, “Having been in the industry for over 2 decades, we continue to prioritize innovation in our work. One innovation we’re very proud of is our partnership with Klook – with them, we’ve experienced an improved online presence and have produced sustainable and desirable promotions that benefit us and our customers.”

Sazon, CEO & President of Southwest Tours, expressed after winning in the Best of the Philippines – Mobility category.
Charley Magabo, Hotel101 Group General Manager, on behalf of the company, accepted recognition of the hotel group as a part of Klook’s Best of the Philippines – Hotel category. Magabo thanked the team members of the hotel group and spoke about their collaboration with Klook, sharing that “Klook’s platform has allowed us to reach a broader audience, especially among digitally savvy travelers who value convenience and reliability. Together, we’ve been able to create seamless travel experiences that reflect the warmth and efficiency Hotel101 is known for. ”
