The day opened inside IKEA Philippines, where unsuspecting shoppers suddenly became part of a live historical reenactment. Dressed in full period costume, Jericho Rosales—portraying President Manuel L. Quezon—and Mon Confiado as General Emilio Aguinaldo led their co-stars in a dramatic sequence that blurred the line between everyday life and theater. Joined by Benjamin Alves, Karylle, Arron Villaflor, Cris Villanueva, Therese Malvar, Angeli Bayani, Jake Macapagal, Ketchup Eusebio, Jun Nayra, and Bodjie Pascua, the ensemble stayed fully in character, transforming the store floor into a stage.
The momentum carried over into the open spaces of MOA with a spirited campaign-style parade. Accompanied by banners, a marching band, and fiery oratory, the performers staged a theatrical Miting de Avance at the outdoor activity center. Rosales and Confiado delivered impassioned speeches on leadership and patriotism, earning cheers from the crowd while urging audiences to catch Quezon in cinemas.
The storytelling extended to the IMAX Event Cinema, where the cast and production team joined corporate partners and a historian for a forum examining the life and legacy of President Quezon. The discussion highlighted how cinema can serve as both art and civic reflection, sparking meaningful dialogue among attendees.

The day concluded at the Manila International Book Fair at SMX Convention Center with the launch of the official companion volume, Quezon: The Story Behind the Film, published by Anvil Publishing. Cast members and key creatives—including Rosales, Karylle, co-screenwriter Rody Vera, cinematographer Pong Ignacio, and producer Daphne O. Chiu-Soon—met fans for a book signing and intimate discussion.
“Through these activities, we wanted audiences to experience the spirit of the film even before stepping into the cinemas,” said producer Chiu-Soon. “Quezon is not just a movie—it’s an invitation to reflect on leadership and nationhood.”
The third installment in TBA Studios’ Bayaniverse trilogy, Quezon opens exclusively in Philippine cinemas on October 15, 2025.
