From their fans’ student days to early adulthood, the legendary K-pop boy group Super Junior continues to touch hearts with every visit to the country. This was especially true on October 4, when thousands of fans gathered at the SM Mall of Asia Arena for the ‘SUPER JUNIOR 20th Anniversary TOUR <SUPER SHOW 10>.
Since the 2nd Generation K-pop group’s last visit to the SM Mall of Asia Arena in 2022 for ‘Super Show 8’, the veteran boy group brought a sweeping sold-out venue where fans came to get the hype.
A wave of everlasting sapphire
Celebrating 20 years of community since 2005, FILO E.L.Fs (the official Philippine Fanbase of Super Junior) from all generations have come together to celebrate the group’s return. Fans expressed their support with lightsticks in hand and through a color-coded dress code of blue. Fans also initiated their own fan projects, such as giving out fan banners and photocards throughout the venue.
The buzz at the venue was numerous conversations about their throwback with the seasoned K-pop group. “We’ve been E.L.F.s for 16 years…my first experience was during SS (Super Show) 2 pa, sila ang nagbigay ng path going to Kpop kasi iba talaga hatak nila”, says one long-time fan in the venue who has supported the group since their early debut.
The event became a lively display of the global impact of the South Korean Boy Group not just in the country, but in every fan.

Despite the group’s numerous appearances in the country, Super Junior’s return has always been a warm reunion between fans. In a sea of blue light sticks, the artists showcased their love, pushing their limits in an excellent performance.
The group performed numerous of their top hits, including legendary songs such as “SORRY, SORRY”, “Black Suit,” “DNA,” and “Mr. Simple, ” which the crowd sang along with full force.
Amidst the night, the crowd also celebrated the birthdays of two beloved members—Donghae and Shindong—adding an extra layer of joy and warmth to the Arena.
The ever-glowing group has proven that their 20 years together do not signal a fading passion, but rather a light that continues to shine brighter each year—just as their community continues to grow with every generation.
