The Nautilus Sets Sail: MVP-Led Landco Pacific Builds the Future of Beachfront Luxury

A new benchmark for coastal luxury living rises in Batangas

November 14, 2025 — Landco Pacific Corporation, a pioneer in premium leisure and lifestyle developments, has commissioned Metro Stonerich Corporation as its General Contractor for The Nautilus, an iconic beachfront residential condominium within the 15-hectare Calatagan South Beach (CaSoBe) estate in Batangas.

This appointment marks the third collaboration between the two companies following their work on The Residences at Terrazas de Punta Fuego, another premier seaside condominium set for completion in 2028.

Leading the ceremonial signing were Landco Pacific executives President and CEO Erickson Y. Manzano, Vice President for Commercial and Customer Experience Gerard F. Peñaflor, and Design & Planning Manager Architect Gerald Santos; together with Metro Stonerich executives Chief Operating Officer Elisio Aurellado, Senior Vice President Engineer Fernando Villanueva Jr., and Senior Vice President Engineer Rene Fabros.

“Bringing The Nautilus to life calls for discipline and precision. We’ve awarded Metro Stonerich the role of General Contractor for this project at CaSoBe, recognizing their capability to deliver to our standards and timeline,” said Manzano.

Redefining coastal living through design and sustainability

Inspired by Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, The Nautilus embodies Landco’s vision for refined and sustainable coastal living.

The Nautilus rises at the sprawling beachfront development of CaSoBe – (Calatagan South Beach)

The 10-storey beachfront condotel recently earned the Preliminary EDGE Advanced Certification, making it the first residential and commercial beach condominium in the Philippines to receive this international recognition for energy efficiency and sustainable design.

Blending technology with tranquility, The Nautilus features solar canopies, EV charging stations, and water-efficient systems alongside panoramic sea views, infinity pools, and wellness sanctuaries, showing that luxury and environmental responsibility can exist side by side.

“The Nautilus continues Landco’s legacy of developing premium communities that integrate architecture, nature, and innovation,” Manzano noted.

Landco: A lifestyle company shaping experiences by the sea

Landco Pacific is more than a developer, it’s a design house for coastal lifestyles. Across our Signature Estates, we choreograph architecture, amenities, and guest experience into one seamless way of living by the sea.

Architecture & Innovation

From statement icons like The Nautilus at CaSoBe and The Spinnaker at Club Laiya to the refined lines of The Residences at Terrazas de Punta Fuego, our projects put architecture at the forefront. Coastal forms, smart planning, and brand-defining silhouettes that create value and a sense of place.

Lifestyle & Amenities

We build for how people live and gather: boardwalks, beach clubs, water sports, curated retail and dining, event lawns, promenades, and family-friendly zones all stitched together so owners, guests, and the community flow naturally from sunrise to late-night socials.

Location Advantage

Our estates, CaSoBe (Calatagan South Beach), Club Laiya, and Punta Fuego, sit on the Batangas coastline’s most coveted stretches: swimmable beaches, driveable from Manila, with evolving township-scale conveniences that reward both end-users and investors.

Developer Strength

As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), Landco pairs vision with balance-sheet strength, governance, and delivery discipline, giving buyers confidence from groundbreaking to handover and beyond.

Hospitality, the Filipino way

Through Landco Lifestyle Ventures (LLV), we operate distinctive stay concepts: Crusoe Cabins, Cocoons, Cupola, and Apollo at Casobe, Camperisti in Club Laiya, and the John Hay Hotels in Camp John Hay, bringing world-class Filipino service to the shoreline and elevating every weekend into a signature experience.
