Zoom up to 1600mm with vivo X300 Series

Jan Mayo tests vivo X300 Pro’s 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera, captures stunning shots

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – vivo Philippines officially unveiled the vivo X300 Series at an exclusive launch event that spotlighted a photography masterclass led by acclaimed Filipino photographer Jan Mayo on November 26, 2025 at Shangri-La The Fort, BGC.

During the masterclass, Jan showcased the vivo X300 Pro’s 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera and pro-level stabilization, giving attendees a hands-on experience of its professional-grade imaging features.

Through the lens with Jan

Guests experienced professional photography techniques up close with the X300 Series. Jan addressed common shooting challenges, including long-distance shots, motion, low light, and complex lighting.

In a live demonstration, event host Nicole Cordoves served as the model while Jan photographed her from the stage to the booth across the room, showcasing the X300 Pro’s telephoto power, depth control, and clarity at a distance.

The vivo X300 allows users to capture life from any distance, with clarity, emotion, and style,” said Jan.

Frames of creativity: vivo X300 Series Photo Contest

The venue became a playground for creativity as attendees were invited to capture their own entries for the photo contest using the X300 Series. Every shot was an opportunity to explore composition, perspective, and storytelling, transforming ordinary moments into extraordinary images.

Judged by Jan Mayo, the top 3 finalists of the contest were Euden Valdez, Bryan Aliwalas, and Rica Virtucio.

Euden spotted a girl across the table, drawn to her shoulder tattoo. The glass framed the moment perfectly. Bryan, on the other hand, chased the play of light and dark until a creative frame emerged. Lastly, Rica waited for the right alignment – railings, leaves, a passing figure. Three frames became one quiet moment.

Entries were posted on vivo Philippines’ Facebook page for public voting, with the highest-engagement participant winning a brand new vivo X300. On November 28, Bryan was announced the winner.

Stage energy: CALISTA live

Adding to the excitement, four-member P-Pop girl group CALISTA energized the audience with performances of their hits, including “Race Car,” “Oops My Bad,” “Don’t Have Time,” and “Alas Dose.”

Their lively stage presence complemented the creative and energetic vibe of the X300 Series launch, making it a memorable celebration of music, innovation, and mobile photography.

This also allowed attendees to experience the vivo X300 Series firsthand, capturing the performances with its advanced camera features that deliver cinematic shots even from a distance, making it perfect for concerts and live events.
