On 16 January 2026, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya paid a courtesy call on Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Acting Secretary Rolando U. Toledo.
Ambassador Endo exchanged views on Japan-Philippines economic cooperation, including Japan’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects. In light of this year marking the 70th anniversary of Japan-Philippines friendship, both sides agreed to further cooperation and collaboration to ensure the smooth implementation of ODA projects.
