DF Art Agency, founded by Derek Flores, marks its 15th anniversary with Grateful Horizons, a group exhibition reflecting on the relationships, collaborations, and shared histories that have sustained the agency over the years.
Since its founding, DF Art Agency has engaged with artists across generations through a practice rooted in continuity and care. Over time, this work has extended beyond the Philippines through projects and collaborations in Paris, Tokyo, London, Kuala Lumpur, Fukuoka, Venice, Berlin, Singapore, Jakarta, Busan, Seoul, Madrid, Basel, and New York, among others. These engagements reflect a sustained commitment to dialogue and long-term artistic relationships.
The exhibition brings together thirty-three artists whose practices span different generations and moments in contemporary art. Established figures share space with younger voices, reflecting how artistic knowledge, discipline, and curiosity move forward not by replacement, but by continuity. Many of the participating artists have worked with DF Art Agency at various points in their careers, forming relationships built on care, consistency, and mutual growth.
Grateful Horizons will open on January 19, 2026, with a reception at 5:00 PM and will run until February 2, 2026 at Leon Gallery International, the agency’s long-standing exhibition collaborator and institutional ally. The venue, located at G/F Corinthian Plaza along Paseo de Roxas in Legazpi Village, Makati City, has been a key partner in presenting exhibitions that prioritize artistic integrity and sustained practice.
A portion of the proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to The Pawssion Project, extending the spirit of gratitude beyond the gallery space.
At its core, Grateful Horizons is an expression of thanks: to the artists who entrusted their work to the agency, to collaborations that endured change, and to a community built through patience rather than spectacle. After fifteen years, the exhibition stands not as a conclusion, but as a horizon, a continuation shaped by shared commitment and care.
