via Graphic Plus — Manila, Philippines – C&E Adaptive Learning Solutions (C&E ALS), through its digital solutions arm CE-Logic, Inc., formalized a partnership with Trinity University of Asia (TUA) for the three-year subscription of Canvas LMS by Instructure and the co-development of microcredential courses.
The contract signing was held on November 19, 2025 at the TUA campus in Quezon City.
The agreement underscores both institutions shared commitment to strengthening digital learning environments and preparing students for emerging industry demands.
Canvas LMS implementation to enhance digital learning
Under the partnership, TUA will adopt Canvas LMS, the world’s leading learning management system (LMS) used by more than 6,000 educational institutions globally. CE-Logic, the newly appointed Channel Partner of Instructure in the Philippines, will support TUA in implementing the cloud-native LMS, along with its integrated tools such as Canvas Studio, Catalog, Redmenta AI Tool, and Accredify. The platform will streamline course delivery, instructional design, assessment, and learning analytics for TUA’s faculty and students.
Co-developing microcredentials for industry-aligned skills
The collaboration also expands C&E ALS’s microcredentials initiative, which aims to equip undergraduate students with targeted, industry-aligned skills. C&E ALS will work with TUA faculty and industry partners to co-produce microcredential courses, providing support in outcomes-based design, instructional development, quality assurance, and publication through Ascend Learning, an AI-powered LMS dedicated to microcredentials. The partnership will allow TUA to offer short, non-stackable courses to boost employability, alongside stackable lifelong learning courses, which are short, student-centered programs aligned with skills- and performance-based learning.
Advancing academic and professional excellence
For C&E ALS, the partnership with TUA marks a significant step in advancing digital transformation in higher education. “Through this collaboration, we hope to create meaningful learning experiences that prepare students for the modern workforce,” Eugenio said, highlighting C&E ALS’s commitment to expanding microcredential programs that build agile, industry-aligned skills.
Meanwhile, CE-Logic, C&E ALS’s digital solutions arm and Instructure’s Diamond Services Partner in Asia, continues to empower Filipino learners and institutions with world-class digital resources, led by Canvas LMS.
Founded on shared goals of innovation and academic excellence, the partnership between C&E ALS and TUA strengthens ongoing efforts to develop adaptive, future-ready learning solutions for Filipino educators and students.
