Bell-Kenz Pharma and DOTr-SAICT forge lifesaving partnership

via Graphic Plus — Bell-Kenz Pharma and the Department of Transportation – Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation (DOTr-SAICT) formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Coast Guard Base Farola.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Luis Raymund Go, Medical Director of Bell-Kenz Pharma Inc; Dr. James Cayetano, President of Bell-Kenz Foundation; and Commodore Oliver S. Tanseco, Commander of DOTr-SAICT and Inspector General of the Philippine Coast Guard. Present at the signing were partners from the EDSA Busway Consortia, PITX, and officials from both organizations.

The MOU signifies a critical step toward strengthening emergency medical preparedness by enabling transport frontliners on the land, sea, and air around the Philippines to be equipped with the life-saving knowledge of Hands-Only CPR.

Key initiatives of the partnership include the nationwide implementation of the “Sagip CPR” Program, focusing on lifesaving skills for responders in major transportation hubs such as the EDSA Busway terminals, the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), other land terminals,local and international airports, major seaports, and maritime passenger terminals.
