Times like these remind us why peace matters.

Filipinas Heritage Library (FHL) revisits the 1995 documentary film Days of the Crimson Sun: The Re-telling of the Battle of Manila, featuring a talkback with filmmaker Tats Rejante Manahan on Saturday, April 25, at the Ayala Museum.

This special session of the Roderick Hall Memorial Lectures spotlights the film that tackles the horrors of war during the Battle of Manila and World War II in the Philippines, told through the voices of survivors who broke their silence fifty years after the war.
