Skyro hits 1 million loans with merchants and partners onboard

Skyro, one of the fastest-growing fintech companies in the Philippines, credits its partnerships with local merchants, financial institutions and platforms as instrumental in its rapid growth and expansion. To date, the company has disbursed approximately P11 billion in total loan value across more than 1 million loans.

Introduced in the Philippines in 2022, Skyro has ongoing partnerships with more than 1,500 offline merchants, over 100 online merchants, at least 5,000 point of sale (POS) locations, and 13 brand partners, including retail giants like Abenson, Robinsons Appliances, EMCOR, Puregold, Western Appliances, and more.

Skyro has also secured credit facilities with key financial institutions such as Sterling Bank and PBCOM, fueling its continued growth this year. Along these financial alliances, the fintech company has also strengthened its reach through strategic partnerships with PalawanPay and 7-Eleven, making applying for loans more accessible and convenient for Filipino customers.

For their part, partners of the fintech company have been experiencing positive results thanks to the flexible financing features of Skyro, bringing in more sales, customers, and repeat visits. The POS partners have been enjoying an average growth of 20% to 25%, four to five times growth from onboarding to breakout within one year, and 13% to 15% year-on-year growth in POS-driven sales.

Among these flexible financing features is the Skyro Flexi, considered one of the most customer-friendly loan features in the country, as it allows customers to adjust their monthly payments or due date with a few taps in their Skyro app to help meet their personal needs. 

Skyro’s reliable product loans continue to attract many more Filipinos nationwide.
