PHLPost set-up service booth, Postal ID to celebrate 127th Independence Day in Rizal Park

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) urged its postal employees nationwide to participate in Independence Day activities as the country celebrates the 127th anniversary of Philippine Independence Day.

PHLPost has stationed a Postal ID booth located in Rizal Park, allowing the visitors and the public to access various PHLPost services. PHLPost was invited to participate in the “Pampamahalaang Programa at Serbisyo” from 10-11 June 2025 at the Rizal Park in Manila.

The PHLPost Booth in Rizal Park is a dedicated station for Postal ID applications and other postal services. The Postal ID application fee is Php 550, which covers taxes and delivery for regular issuance. The public only needs to bring a completed application form, proof of identity, and proof of address.

Kaisa ng PHLPost, ang aking mainit na pagbati at panawagan ng pakikiisa sa ika-127th taong pagdiriwang ng proklamasyon ng kalayaan ng ating bansa,” Postmaster General Luis Carlos said.

The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) has requested the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) to provide 100 employees to participate in the Independence Day Parade wearing the official Kalayaan 2025 shirts, which will be honored by the presence of His Excellency President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Government and non-government agencies offered free services and showcased different products in their respective booths. The PHLPost booth catered to stakeholders inquiring about post office mail and parcel delivery and services, the selling of specially designed commemorative stamps and postcards, and Postal ID applications.

PHLPost continues to lead through good governance. As it embarks on this journey of transformation and growth, together with the dedicated postal employees, PHLPost remains committed to delivering reliable postal services, embracing innovation, and fostering closer ties with its stakeholders.

PHLPost has embarked on several initiatives aimed at modernizing postal services, improving operational efficiency and logistics, as well as enhancing the corporation’s international profile through good governance.

The current leadership credited with significant strides in operational efficiency, especially in the development and improvement of the Postal Identification Card or Postal ID, which benefited thousands of Overseas Filipinos and their families. “Muli, ang aking mainit na pagbati sa lahat ng Pilipino saan mang panig ng mundo para sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Kalayaan. Mabuhay kayo at mabuhay ang serbisyo publiko!”, PMG Carlos said.
