Founded over 50 years ago, The North Face has inspired countless individuals to conquer the ordinary. From its extensive line of high-quality outdoor gears and equipment to its steadfast dedication to nurture outdoor sporting communities across the world, The North Face has certainly come to play a key function in humanity’s never-ending pursuit for adventure and athletic excellence.

As part of its efforts to empower outdoor sporting communities across borders, The North Face is more than thrilled to announce its recently-forged partnership with the Philippine National Climbing Team (PNCT).

To officially establish its newfound role as a key sponsor for the country’s national team for climbing, an exclusive media event was held last June 13 at the R.O.X. Bonifacio High Street in BGC.

Among those who were present at the launch were representatives from the media, TNF athletes as well as select influencers who all share an equal passion for outdoor sports.

During the program, guests were able to meet the athletes who are set to represent the country in the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics along with their Team Coach and likewise witness the official awarding of the Certificate of Partnership.

During the program, The North Face Philippines shared the motivation behind the brand’s commitment to support the country’s national climbing team.

As one of the official partners of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, The North Face teamed up with the country’s national climbing team with several goals in mind.

For one, the pressure is at its peak for the PNCT especially since only three representatives from Asia can qualify for a spot at the Olympics.

In equipping the PNCT with the most cutting-edge gears and equipment, The North Face seeks to empower the team in their journey to the Olympics and in the process, spark hope among young athletes who are aspiring for international athletics.

As the upcoming Tokyo Olympics marks an iconic milestone for being the first-ever Olympic Games to host the Rock Climbing category, it is essential for all competing athletes to be decked out in apparel, gears, and equipment that will enhance and improve their overall performance.

In line with this, The North Face rolls out with the “No Days Off” campaign. As the campaign slogan implies, The North Face advocates a no-excuses attitude when it comes to training as it introduces a series of collections that will enable outdoor explorers to move without restriction in any time and any given environment.

Whether to be used in training for the Olympics or for conquering one’s personal athletic limits, the newly-launched outdoor training and trail running collections under The North Face’s “No Days Off” campaign will surely boost performance and allow for utmost freedom of movement, anytime and anywhere.
