After a stellar run of deeply intimate dinners, Nigerian private chef and culinary storyteller Chef Ọ𝘽A is concluding his AṢÍRI dining series with one final seating this May. The experience, known as Ilé Ọ𝘽Á: AṢÍRI, has drawn guests into a soul-baring journey through food, memory, and cultural storytelling. Tickets for the final public dinner are now available, and media are invited to attend an exclusive private dinner ahead of the closing event.
Ilé Ọ𝘽Á—meaning “the palace” or “the royal house”—is a sacred culinary space curated by Chef Ọ𝘽A, where each plate is a memory and each course a story. AṢÍRI (Yorùbá for “secret”) is a deeply personal reflection of the chef’s seven-year journey: a chronicle of chaos, beauty, healing, and growth, transformed into a multisensory dining ritual.
Since February, the monthly series has welcomed just 15 guests per evening, offering an immersive, meditative atmosphere for reflection and connection. This May, the story ends—but not before one final gathering of 25 guests to honor the roots, the lessons, and the legacy. The seven (7) course dinner includes Live Gángan (African talking drum performance), an interactive painting session for guests to take home as well as other games and riddles.
“This isn’t just a dinner—it’s a farewell to my twenties, a tribute to every chapter I’ve lived through since my first meal in 2018. Each course carries a secret I’ve carried, and now I’m sharing it in the most sacred way I know—through food.” – Chef Ọ𝘽A
