Are You Prepped? UFS set to unveil Volume 3 of global food trend report

PHILIPPINES, May 8, 2025 – In the culinary world, specifically in professional kitchens, “prep” refers to the process undertaken by dedicated kitchen staff to ensure that ingredients are ready to be cooked into and served as delicious dishes. 

It’s in that same spirit that Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) Philippines asks, “Are You Prepped?” on its official website, as the professional food services brand gears up for the unveiling of its annual Future Menus report. 

UFS Future Menus is a curation of food trends, industry insights, and consumer sentiments gleaned from extensive research of both the culinary and cultural landscape, bolstered by constant dialogue with the food industry. Culled from 312 million online searches, 1,100 chef interviews worldwide, and hundreds of hours of research and social listening, it translates key findings into critical solutions for industry pain points.

Now on its third edition this year, the global food trend report has been a constant ally to food industry professionals.

As the brand gears up for another exciting edition of Future Menus, UFS Executive Chef Kenneth Cacho shared an overview of the work that goes into putting together the trend report, highlighting its growing importance among industry professionals. 

“From a network of 250-strong UFS chefs around the world, new ideas come up across different markets and different countries. In the process, we get to learn more about the needs of operators, and we get to use our experience in teaching them how to improve and professionalize their processes.
