Nestor Felix worked in the development sector for many years, covering several countries in Asia. Now retired, he contributes commentaries and opinions to the 𝑃ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑒𝐷𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑦𝐼𝑛𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑟𝑒𝑟(by-lined Nono Felix) and essays to 𝐷𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑒𝐼𝑏𝑎𝑙𝑜𝑛, an online magazine. In the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, his poems appeared in 𝐹𝑜𝑐𝑢𝑠𝑃ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑀𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑧𝑖𝑛𝑒, 𝑆𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑦𝐼𝑛𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑟𝑒𝑟𝑀𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑧𝑖𝑛𝑒, among others. He is a two-time recipient of the 𝑃ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠𝐺𝑟𝑎𝑝ℎ𝑖𝑐Salute Award in 2024.
