The Laguna Field Agricultural Extension Services-Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (FAES-OPAg) dispersed approximately 65,000 i-Excel Tilapia fingerlings in Barangay Bagumbayan on 23 April 2025.
Under the Communal and Water Seeding Program of the Provincial Government of Laguna (PGL), the purpose of the activity is to re-populate the lake near the area, and to support fisherfolk associations who rely on fish farming for their livelihood. And through FAES-OPAg, PGL aims to further improve the fishing industry in the municipality, to thrive and prosper for the benefit of its citizens.
