VS Hotel Sparkles with Dazzling Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The holiday season at VS Hotel officially began on December 1, 2024, with a magnificent Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony that illuminated EDSA, Quezon City. The iconic thoroughfare was adorned with brilliant lights, creating a festive atmosphere that brought the spirit of Christmas to one of the busiest roads in Metro Manila.

Among the distinguished guests in attendance were Quezon City District 4 Councilor Hon. Irene Belmonte, Barangay South Triangle Captain Beverly Gaw, and the dedicated staff of VS Hotel. Dr. Mario A. Isic, in his opening address, underscored the importance of community, unity, and kindness during the holiday season. “Tonight, we light not only this beautiful tree but also the hearts of everyone present,” Dr. Isic remarked. “May this Christmas season draw us closer, inspire acts of generosity, and fill our lives with joy and hope for the year ahead.”

Elevating the ceremony were the live performances, including a heartfelt rendition of classic songs by Elha Nympha, the grand winner of The Voice Kids Season 2. Her powerful voice won the admiration of all present, heightening the festive atmosphere. The Our Lady of Fatima University Chorale captivated the audience with their harmonious performances of traditional Christmas carols. In addition to the lighting ceremony, VS Hotel, in partnership with Victoria Sports Club and Barangay South Triangle, announced the Banchetto sa Samar Ave. This holiday night market showcases local vendors, artisanal crafts, and seasonal treats. This initiative supports local microentrepreneurs, offering them a valuable platform to display their products while enriching the holiday experience of the community.

The Banchetto sa Samar Ave. will run on December 6-7 and December 13-22, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Samar Avenue, Barangay South Triangle, Quezon City. It presents an ideal opportunity for families and friends to gather, shop for unique gifts, savor festive delicacies, and immerse themselves in the holiday spirit—all while supporting a meaningful local cause.
