109 couples wedded, officiated by City of Sto. Tomas, Batangas Mayor Arth Jhun Aguilar Marasigan

The first Mass Wedding was presided over by Mayor Atty. Arth Jhun Aguilar of Sto. Tomas City in Batangas last Dec. 9, 2022 at the City Hall Annex Bldg.

Under the leadership and facilitation of the City Civil Registrar of the city of Sto. Tomas, led by Leilani M. Escarez, 109 couples were given the opportunity to legalize their union through this program.

This includes providing free arrangements of documents, prenup photoshoots, and other souvenir items.

With the support of the Philippines Statistics Authority, City Council and the Department Managers—led by City Administrator Severino Medalla—attended the program.

Some of the newlyweds were very happy to be chosen as ‘Best Couple.’ They received gifts from sponsors of the program such as NDN Hotel, Microtel Sto. Tomas, and Rose & Grace Restaurant.
