Angkas empowers Lipa bikers with training session; deploys free rides during Barako Fest

Lipa City, Batangas—Angkas, the leading motorcycle ride-hailing platform, recently conducted a comprehensive training session for bikers in Lipa City, alongside a successful deployment and free rides initiative during the Barako Fest held from March 14 to 16.

These efforts mark Angkas’ commitment to professionalizing the motorcycle industry and empowering local bikers with the necessary tools for financial independence.

During the Barako Fest, Angkas took part in the festivities by providing free rides to attendees, ensuring safe and convenient transportation options for all participants.

This initiative not only showcased Angkas’ dedication to serving communities but also highlighted the efficiency and reliability of motorcycle transportation.

Moreover, Angkas organized a training session for Lipa bikers, emphasizing the importance of professionalism and safety in the industry.

As part of its inclusive and holistic approach, Angkas believes in recognizing the contributions of the informal sector and providing them with legitimate access to training and resources.

The training session aimed to equip bikers with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their profession while upholding safety standards and customer satisfaction.

Lipa City Councilor Mikee Morada remarked that Angkas continues to set the standard for excellence in the motorcycle industry, through initiatives like the training session in Lipa and the free rides during the Barako Fest.  

“Their dedication to empowering bikers with the necessary skills and resources is truly commendable,” Morada added.

As part of its expansion plans, Angkas is conducted app testing from Apr. 1 to 6 and is set to launch its full operations in Lipa City today, Apr. 9. The launch will include the operation of Angkas Padala, further enhancing the accessibility of efficient delivery services in the city. 

“With its dedication to safety, professionalism, and community engagement, Angkas continues to revolutionize the motorcycle industry, one ride at a time,” Africa concluded.
