MANILA, Philippines – The world-renowned food exhibition, WOFEX, is set to make its grand return to Manila, providing an unparalleled platform for culinary exploration and trade. From August 6 to 9, 2025, food enthusiasts and industry professionals are invited to the World Trade Center and SMX Convention Center, where Thailand will prominently showcase its world-famous Thai rice.

Under the compelling theme, “THINK RICE, THINK THAILAND: We serve the Best Quality Rice to the World,” Thailand is poised to highlight the exceptional quality and distinctive flavor profiles that have made its rice a global staple. Attendees are encouraged to visit Booth No. 1075, ‘THINK RICE, THINK THAILAND,’ located in Hall 4 of the SMX Convention Center, Manila, to delve into the diverse wonders of Thai rice.

The exhibit will feature an array of premium Thai rice varieties, including the versatile Thai white rice, the aromatic Thai fragrant rice, and the internationally celebrated Thai Hom Mali rice. Known for its soft-textured long grains, delicate floral aroma, and outstanding culinary performance, Thai Hom Mali rice exemplifies the high standards of Thai agricultural excellence. This exclusive engagement offers a unique opportunity to explore different varieties and benefit from special pricing presented directly by Thai rice exporters and Philippine importers, facilitating access to the finest Thai rice for culinary enhancement.

Adding an interactive dimension to the event, captivating cooking demonstrations will be hosted by accredited Thai SELECT restaurants based in Manila. These restaurants, officially recognized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) under the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, will present skilled chefs revealing the culinary secrets behind authentic Thai dishes, with Thai rice as the central ingredient. These demonstrations promise to be a highlight, transforming simple ingredients into remarkable culinary masterpieces.

Thailand’s participation in WOFEX 2025 is proudly supported by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and the Department of Foreign Trade (DFT), both under the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, facilitated through the Thai Trade Center in Manila. This collective effort underscores Thailand’s commitment to promoting its high-quality agricultural products on an international stage.

We invite all attendees to embark on a journey of discovery for their taste buds. Experience the unmatched flavors of Thai rice and the sophisticated artistry of Thai cuisine. Visit Booth 1075 at the SMX Convention Center (Hall 4) from August 6 to 9, 2025, between 10 AM and 7 PM.
