via GRAPHIC PLUS | MANILA, Philippines — The country’s largest and most influential construction trade event officially opened today, gathering thousands of industry professionals, manufacturers, innovators, suppliers, and decision-makers committed to building a safer, stronger, and more resilient Philippines.
Running from June 25 to 28 at the SMX Convention Center Manila and the SM MOA Concert Grounds, PHILCONSTRUCT 2026 serves as the premier platform where the Philippine construction industry showcases the latest technologies, equipment, materials, and engineering solutions that will shape the nation’s infrastructure development.

Organized by the Philippine Constructors Association (PCA), this year’s exhibition carries the theme “Responsible Construction for a Resilient Philippines,” underscoring the industry’s growing commitment to sustainable construction, disaster resilience, ethical development, and long-term community building.
The four-day event extends far beyond a traditional trade exhibition. It provides a dynamic venue for collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange, bringing together local and international companies while creating opportunities for Filipino contractors, engineers, architects, developers, suppliers, and entrepreneurs to forge strategic partnerships and discover emerging trends in the global construction industry.
One of the event’s key attractions is the TechnoForum, where respected industry leaders, technical experts, and policymakers share insights on the latest technologies, industry standards, government policies, and best practices shaping both the Philippine and ASEAN construction sectors. The forum encourages continuous professional development and equips industry stakeholders with the knowledge needed to adapt to an increasingly evolving market.
During the opening ceremonies, Engr. Emilio “Lilit” Tumbocon, Chairman of the Philconstruct Events, Exhibitions and Conferences Corp. (PEECC), emphasized that PHILCONSTRUCT’s enduring success has always been driven by collaboration.
He noted that the exhibition has continued to grow through the unwavering support of the construction community, whose members consistently embrace innovation, strengthen partnerships, and invest in the country’s future.
This year’s edition features more than 1,000 local and international exhibitors spread across two expansive venues.
Inside the SMX Convention Center Manila, visitors can explore cutting-edge construction materials, architectural innovations, digital technologies, engineering solutions, and smart building systems. The venue also hosts HVAC/R Philippines, highlighting energy-efficient cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and indoor air quality technologies that support sustainable infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the outdoor exhibition at the SM MOA Concert Grounds showcases heavy construction equipment, industrial vehicles, and live machinery demonstrations, giving contractors, developers, and buyers the opportunity to experience the latest equipment and technologies firsthand.
PCA President Engr. Gerardo “Jerry” Pancho reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to fostering stronger industry partnerships and creating opportunities that will propel Philippine construction toward greater competitiveness and sustainability.
Echoing the event’s central message, PCA First Vice President Ar. Lesley Villanueva emphasized that responsible construction goes beyond building physical structures.
“It is about creating thriving communities, generating meaningful livelihoods, and laying the foundation for a more sustainable and resilient future for every Filipino,” she said.
Also lending support to the event was Albert Martinez, PCA Ambassador, who joined industry leaders in promoting the importance of innovation, excellence, and collaboration in advancing the country’s construction sector.
As PHILCONSTRUCT 2026 continues through Sunday, the exhibition reaffirms the construction industry’s vital role in driving national development while inspiring stakeholders to build infrastructure that is innovative, sustainable, resilient, and capable of serving future generations.
