VIA GRAPHIC PLUS — The 31st Agrilink, Foodlink, Aqualink concluded on October 10 at the World Trade Center Manila, bringing together government agencies, agribusiness leaders, producers, technology providers, industry associations, and other stakeholders to showcase solutions that can improve efficiency across the country’s agricultural value and market chains.

Held from October 8 to 10, Agrilink 2026 carried the theme, “Agri Food Hub Facilities: A Boost to Efficiency in the Value and Market Chains,” highlighting the role of integrated facilities, logistics, cold storage, processing, consolidation, and market linkages in helping agricultural and fishery products move more efficiently from producers to buyers and consumers.

Agri food hubs can help address gaps between production and the market by bringing key services and infrastructure closer together. These can include aggregation and consolidation areas, cold chain and storage facilities, processing and packaging services, logistics support, and connections to institutional and commercial buyers.

For farmers, fisherfolk, cooperatives, and agribusinesses, stronger hub facilities can help reduce handling and postharvest losses, improve product quality, and create more reliable routes to market. For buyers and consumers, more efficient value chains can contribute to steadier supply and better access to agricultural and food products.

The Agrilink exhibition was formally opened on October 8 by Anthony S. Dizon, President of the Cold Chain Association of the Philippines, Inc. (CCAP) and Chairman of Agrilink 2026; Department of Agriculture (DA) Undersecretary for Operations Roger P. Navarro; and DA Undersecretary Designated for Identified High Value Export Crops and Agri-Fishery Export Development and Promotion Philip C. Young. They were joined by other representatives from the DA, foreign dignitaries, members of the Foundation for Resource Linkage and Development, Inc. (FRLD) Board of Directors, and Agrilink co-organizers.

Throughout the three-day exhibition, visitors explored agricultural products, technologies, machinery, equipment, inputs, live animal and plant displays, food products, and services from local and international exhibitors. Agrilink 2026 also featured free seminars, learning sessions, demonstrations, and opportunities for participants to connect with industry experts, suppliers, potential business partners, and other stakeholders across agriculture, food, aquaculture, and agribusiness.

For more than three decades, Agrilink has served as the Philippines’ premier international agribusiness exhibition and as a platform connecting farmers, fisherfolk, agribusinesses, government agencies, industry associations, technology providers, and other stakeholders across the agriculture and food value chains.

Also co-located with Agrilink 2026 was the third edition of the Kadiwa ng Pangulo Expo. Led by the DA, Kadiwa is a farm-to-consumer and market linkage program that helps farmers, fisherfolk, cooperatives, associations, and agri-based enterprises connect directly with consumers and other buyers while expanding access to affordable agricultural products.

Occupying 875 square meters of exhibition space, the Kadiwa Expo featured 54 booths showcasing products from farmers, fisherfolk, cooperatives, and agri-based enterprises from across the country. Three Kadiwa trucks also showcased and sold fruits, vegetables, delicacies, and other agricultural products from three regions. Visitors were able to explore retail and dining areas offering local agricultural and food products, including Benteng Bigas at ₱20 per kilo.

Organized by FRLD and co-organized by more than 20 national and international trade associations and public agencies, Agrilink, Foodlink, and Aqualink bring together products, technologies, services, and innovations across agriculture, food production and processing, fisheries, livestock, farm machinery, inputs, logistics, and related industries.
