Winford Resort & Casino Manila Brings Joy to the Community with ‘Christmasaya 2024’

Winford Resort & Casino Manila (WRCM) spread holiday cheer to the residents of Sta. Cruz, Manila community and neighboring barangays by rolling out its annual gift-giving program on December 11, 2024.

The festive event, titled “Christmasaya sa Winford”, brought together representatives from local barangay officials, WRCM officers and selected beneficiaries from Barangays 350, 351, and 352 at the hotel’s Ballroom A. The program featured choral serenades and distribution of gifts, spreading joy to the attendees.

WRCM President and Chief Operating Officer, Jeffrey Evora, delivered a heartfelt message, expressing the company’s gratitude to the local community.

“Winford Manila is now on its seventh year of operations, our success is a testament to the unwavering support of this community, which has embraced us since day one. Today’s gift-giving activity is our way of expressing thanks and celebrating the bond we share with you all,” Evora said. 

Holiday vibes soared as the Ramon Magsaysay High School (RMHS) Chorale sang Christmas carols, delighting the guests.  By the end of the WRCM event, everyone left with smiles and a healthy dose of Christmas cheer. 

Launched in partnership with the Philippine Amusement & Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) as Paskong Pasasalamat mula sa PAGCOR at Winford Manila, this CSR initiative has been a cherished tradition since 2017. Renamed “Christmasaya Mula sa Winford” in 2022, the program reflects WRCM’s commitment to giving back to the community. 

Beneficiaries are carefully selected by barangay captains, highlighting the strong partnership between WRCM and the local government. 

With this year’s successful event, Winford Resort & Casino Manila continues to uphold its dedication to community engagement, ensuring that “Christmasaya sa Winford” remains a highlight of the holiday season, strengthening bonds and celebrating the true essence of Christmas.
