That’s exactly what happened to Alfredo Santiago III on December 14 when he was unexpectedly announced as the winner of a brand-new Suzuki Gixxer FI motorcycle during the mall’s Christmas event.
“Random, nag-coffee lang kami ni wife, and then I saw a poster regarding that certain raffle with Sun Residences, so I said, ‘Why not?’ I’ll just scan the QR codes and then scan all the receipts I got from the past weeks,” Santiago recounted.
He adds, “I said, ‘If I’m lucky, then I’m lucky.’ If not, still a thank you for us.”
When he won, he shared, “From buying a waffle and then having a coffee, now I have my motorcycle.”
The “Shop, Dine, and Win: Drive to a Good Life” promo, held from September 1 to November 30, 2024, encouraged shoppers and diners at participating SMDC Malls to earn raffle entries for a chance to win a Suzuki Gixxer FI 2024 motorcycle or a Suzuki Dzire 2024 car. For every Php1,000 spent at any of the participating SMDC Malls, customers received one raffle entry.
