(January 7, 2025) Cebu City, the Philippines – Heal PH Party-List, a passionate advocate for accessible healthcare and wellness, is a proud sponsor of Sinulog Run 2025 that happened in Cebu on early Sunday morning, January 5.

This event brought together health enthusiasts, families, and community members to promote fitness and raise awareness about the need for accessible healthcare services for all Filipinos.

As part of its ongoing commitment to promoting health and wellness across the country, Heal PH Party-List leveraged this high-energy event to highlight its advocacy of providing a “free health card for all Filipinos.”

The fun run, which was expected to have drawn a crowd of over 3,950 participants, featured various categories, including a special segment for kids and their families (200 participants) as well as a pet-friendly category with 50 “fur parents” participating alongside their pets.

The event not only got participants moving but also engaged them in conversations about the importance of healthcare access.

Heal PH Party-List is hopeful that the event served as a platform to connect with future supporters and rally those who share its goal of having health advocates and medical professionals represented in the House of Representatives.

Dr. Eric Tayag, Heal PH Party-List’s second nominee, joined this year’s Sinulog Run to kick-start the event and share his personal commitment to promoting health in the country.

“We’re not just focused on helping people get healthy through activities like this fun run,” said Dr. Jondi Flavier, first nominee of Heal PH Party-List. “We also want to highlight the importance of having health advocates in Congress. It is crucial that our legislative body has representatives who understand the needs of the Filipino people when it comes to healthcare access.”

“Through events like this, we hope to inspire more people to take action and get behind our mission,” Flavier added.

Sinulog Run 2025 not only aligned with Heal PH’s goal to promote better health nationwide, but also served as a critical venue to raise awareness about the party-list’s vision for a healthier, more equitable Philippines.
