Filinvest Malls: Where Christmas Memories Shine Bright

Share

Alabang, Muntinlupa City (November 7, 2025) — The holiday season officially began at Festival Mall Alabang with the grand lighting of its iconic Christmas tree, marking the start of a joyful celebration across Filinvest Malls.

Standing 30 feet tall, the tree glows with nostalgic charm, adorned with classic ornaments, capiz lanterns, stockings, and playful nutcrackers. Its warm lights and timeless details evoke fond Christmas memories of family gatherings, twinkling lights, and traditions shared across generations. Surrounding décor and golden hues transformed the mall’s halls into a festive space that reflects the Filipino spirit of joy and togetherness.

Filinvest Malls and the local government of Muntinlupa led the ceremonial tree-lighting at Festival Mall, officially welcoming the Christmas season. From left to right: Brgy. A Celebration of Community, Compassion, and Cheer

The evening opened with remarks from Ms. Yvette Dizon, General Manager of Festival Mall, who welcomed guests and community partners that continue to make the annual celebration meaningful.

“Tonight, as we gather here for this year’s Christmas Tree Lighting, our celebration embraces the theme Christmas Memories — a tribute to the warmth of Filipino family traditions and the joy of coming together as a community,” shared Ms. Dizon. “It’s a time to strengthen bonds, create lasting memories, and cherish the moments that stay in our hearts forever.”

The ceremony was graced by Hon. Ruffy Biazon, Mayor of Muntinlupa; Hon. Stephanie Teves Wong, Vice Mayor of Muntinlupa; Barangay Captain Tintin Abas-Ding of Alabang; and Filinvest Malls executives, all gathered to highlight the true essence of Christmas — giving back and building community spirit.

Inspired by this year’s theme, “Christmas Memories”, the Festival Mall Christmas Tree reminds guests that the heart of the season lies in connection, kindness, and being present in sharing joy, and in giving back to others.

As part of the festivities, Filinvest Malls held its annual CSR initiative in partnership with the Muntinlupa Social Services Department (SSD). The celebration welcomed children with special learning and developmental needs — including those with challenges in communication, mobility, and sensory abilities — for a day of joy and connection at Festival Mall. Children were treated to a day of fun at Festival Mall, enjoying amusement rides, games, and food from tenant partners. Each received a special gift — a simple gesture of love and hope.

The highlight of the evening was the lighting of the giant tree, followed by a heartwarming performance by a local children’s choir. Their carols filled the halls with music and joy — a moment that truly captured the warmth of the Filipino Christmas.

Holiday Cheer Across Filinvest Malls Nationwide

The Christmas spirit continues to spread across Fora Mall Tagaytay, Main Square Bacoor, Filinvest Malls Dumaguete, IL Corso Cebu, Filinvest Malls Mimosa, and Westgate Alabang. “At Filinvest Malls, kindness turns moments into memories. This Christmas, we celebrate connection, compassion, and the joy of being part of one community,” said Ms. Denise Lagayan, Vice President and Head of Filinvest Malls Corporate Marketing, as she thanked guests, partners, and mallgoers for being part of the Filinvest Malls community that continues to grow through shared joy and meaningful connections.
