MANILA, Philippines On October 26, 2025, the Filinvest City Events Grounds in Alabang, Muntinlupa, pulsed with enthusiasm and energy as more than 7,000 runners joined the highly-anticipated second edition of the Garmin Run Asia Series in Manila. Participants, from recreational joggers to seasoned athletes and competitive runners, came together with one goal: to commit to health and fitness through running and #BeatYesterday with a new personal best.

Organized by Garmin, the world’s leading brand of smartwatches for sports and health, the event was part of the brand’s ongoing regional initiative to promote active living and strengthen the running community across Asia.

Together in Stride

The run brought together a record 7,700 runners across all race categories. Of the total turnout, 238 runners from more than 20 countries – such as Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore, and from countries farther afield, including Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States – shared the course with the local running community, including members of the Garmin Run Club (GRC) and various other running groups. Notable personalities from media and public service also joined the run, highlighting how the Garmin Run has evolved into both a sporting event and a celebration of community.

Runners explored Garmin’s different fitness and wellness devices, played interactive games, and visited partner booths that offered freebies, prizes, and exclusive deals.

A Continuing Commitment to Progress

Building on the success of its inaugural run last year, the 2025 Garmin Run Philippines stayed true to the theme of the series, “From Zero to Hero,” as it championed every runner’s personal journey. More than just a one-day event, the run series is meant to inspire participants to push past their limits and discover their inner hero through running.

“The success of the Garmin Run in Manila for two consecutive years is a testament to the strength and passion of the running community in the country,” said Ryan Tan, Founder and CEO of NAVCO Group, Garmin’s exclusive distributor in the Philippines. “We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and look forward to carrying that momentum and spirit into the next.”
