CharityPhilippines.Org drives SDG action across the Philippines

Via GRAPHIC PLUS — From supporting cancer patients and orphaned children to funding environmental projects and scholarships, CharityPhilippines.org (CPO), a crowdfunding platform, connects donors with over 50 NGOs nationwide, all working toward the shared vision of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Born during the pandemic, CPO brings diverse causes together on a single, accessible website, simplifying giving and allowing donors to support multiple organizations in one transaction.

Aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a UN framework addressing issues such as education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods, CPO uses technology to link donors and NGOs more efficiently.

CPO directly contributes to these goals through the wide range of causes it supports. Its partner NGOs advocate for animal welfare, arts and culture, children and youth, disaster response, disability, education, elderly care, environment, health, human rights, indigenous people, internet connectivity, poverty alleviation, and sports. These areas correspond closely with SDGs such as No Poverty, Good Health and Well-being, Quality Education, Reduced Inequalities, Climate Action, and Partnerships for the Goals. By enabling donors—whatever their walk in life—to fund these projects, CPO connects resources to development efforts on the ground.

CPO supports beneficiaries in different provinces, including Benguet, Bohol, Misamis Oriental, and Zamboanga. Its partner NGOs serve vulnerable groups such as pregnant women in crisis, abandoned and surrendered children, PWDs, indigenous people, the elderly, and even stray animals. This broad scope highlights the platform’s commitment to inclusive development and reflects the SDGs’ core principle of leaving no one behind, regardless of geography or circumstance.

The organization’s core values further reinforce its contribution to sustainable development. CPO is committed to serving the poor, the sick, the needy, the weak, the disabled, and the marginalized. It upholds integrity and transparency in linking donors to causes, values respect and professionalism in all its partnerships, and emphasizes collaboration—the meeting of minds, hearts, and hands—to bring meaningful assistance to communities.
