The Nautilus at Casobe makes Philippine property histor with four Asia-Pacific Property Awards and two international nominations

VIA GRAPHIC PLUS | May 12, 2026 — Some addresses change everything. The Nautilus at Casobe (Calatagan South Beach) is one of them.

One of Landco Pacific’s crown jewels, the Philippines’ most celebrated beachfront condotel, has swept the 2026–2027 Asia-Pacific Property Awards, claiming four top honors: Five Stars in Architecture for Multiple Residences, Five Stars in Leisure Architecture, Five Stars in Sustainable Residential Development, and Five Stars in Leisure Development.

The awards were presented at a gala night in Bangkok, attended by the region’s foremost names in architecture, interior design, and real estate at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park.

But the accolades don’t stop at the Asia-Pacific level. Out of more than 800 submissions vetted by a panel of over 100 global industry experts in London, The Nautilus emerged as the only Philippine property advancing to the International Property Awards  and not just in one category, but two: Architecture for Multiple Residences and Leisure Architecture. The International Property Awards ceremony takes place in London later this year, where The Nautilus will compete on the world stage.

This milestone builds on Landco Pacific’s already formidable global legacy. The Spinnaker at Club Laiya made history as the first Philippine property to win Best International Sustainable Residential Development at the 2024–2025 International Property Awards in London’s Savoy Hotel. Now, The Nautilus takes the baton – and raises it higher.

A Vision Made Tangible

“When the world takes notice of The Nautilus, it validates something we have long stood by – that when you build with genuine care for design, for people, and for the environment, the results speak for themselves,” said Landco Pacific’s  President and CEO Erickson Y. Manzano. “Four Asia-Pacific Property Awards and two international nominations are humbling. But what matters most to us is that The Nautilus delivers a real ‘life on vacation’, not just for today’s investors and residents, but for the generations who will call CaSoBe home long after us.”

“Sustainability is not a box we check. It is embedded in how we design, build, and operate, not because we have to, but because it’s the right thing to do,” Manzano added.  “The Nautilus is proof that architectural excellence and environmental responsibility are not competing priorities.  They are different ambitions to be balanced, but principles that can, and must, reinforce each other.”

The Making of an Icon

Inspired by Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, The Nautilus was never designed to blend in , it was designed to lead. The stunning 10-story condotel rises at the heart of CaSoBe (Calatagan South Beach), Landco Pacific’s 15-hectare flagship resort estate in Batangas , just 2–3 hours from Metro Manila and powered entirely by 100% renewable energy.

Designed by Pomeroy Studio (Singapore) and Visionarch (Philippines), The Nautilus is a study in refined, sustainable coastal living, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, 2.8-meter ceiling heights, and ocean-view balconies across 171 residential units and five commercial spaces. From studios to three-bedroom suites, every unit is a front-row seat to the Calatagan shoreline.

The Nautilus also holds the distinction of being the Philippines’ first residential and commercial beach condominium to receive Preliminary EDGE Advanced Certification , recognized internationally for energy efficiency and sustainable design. Solar canopies, EV charging stations, and water-efficient systems coexist seamlessly with infinity pools, spa sanctuaries, and panoramic sea views , proof that luxury and sustainability are not opposing forces, but natural allies.

Life on Vacation – Redefined

At The Nautilus, the living philosophy is simple: every day should feel like a vacation. Guests and residents experience CaSoBe through all five senses – the sound of gentle waves, the sight of vibrant sunsets over the West Philippine Sea, the taste of coastal cuisine rooted in Batangas’ culinary heritage, and the feel of sea breeze and natural textures at every turn.

Premium amenities – including infinity pools, The Abyss Spa, the Observatory rooftop deck, Captain’s Hideout bar, and the Horizon Pool Deck – are designed not just for comfort, but for memory-making. Curated dining at Sands and Captain Barbozza, family adventures at Aquaria Water Park, cycling paths, water activities, and the CaSoBe Lighthouse set the stage for weekends, workcations, and milestone celebrations alike.

For investors, The Nautilus continues Landco Pacific’s legacy of exceptional value appreciation – exemplified by Punta Fuego’s over 1,000% appreciation since the 1990s. Unit owners may join Landco Pacific’s hassle-free rental pool program, earning passive income while the property is managed with the same standard of hospitality that defines the CaSoBe experience.

CaSoBe is also home to signature accommodations – Crusoe Cabins, Apollo Aeropods, Cupola domes, Cocoons, and the Chairman’s Cabin, the weekend retreat of Metro Pacific Investment Corporation Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan underscoring the estate’s stature as the Philippines’ most distinguished leisure address.
