Two-day event connects enterprise leaders, government, innovators, and developers to explore practical solutions for intelligent businesses and cities

VIA GRAPHIC PLUS | MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The 4th Internet of Things Conference Philippines and the inaugural AI Philippine Expo will take place on November 10–11, 2026 at Megatrade Halls 1–3, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City, bringing together two technology ecosystems to accelerate real-world adoption.

Under the theme “Shaping the Next Era of Intelligent Business and Cities,” the event will convene enterprise decision-makers, government agencies, technology providers, educators, startups, developers, and investors to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) can improve operations, customer experience, sustainability, and decision-making.

More than 6,000 attendees are expected, with a focus on connecting technology providers with business leaders across property, manufacturing, logistics, telecommunications, retail, and other major sectors.

“AI provides intelligence, whilst IoT provides real-world awareness. Together, they turn data into timely, predictive, and actionable solutions for businesses, cities, and communities,” said Arnold Bagabaldo, CEO of Packetworx, Inc.

IoT captures information from the physical world—from buildings and machines to energy systems and supply chains. AI analyzes that information to identify patterns, anticipate issues, and support better decisions. Together, these capabilities underpin AIoT, or Artificial Intelligence of Things, helping organizations turn connected data into practical action.

From technology showcase to business adoption

This year’s event expands opportunities for learning, collaboration, and enterprise engagement through several key features:

● Inaugural AI Philippine Expo: A co-located exhibition connecting AI providers and innovators with the IoT ecosystem and organizations exploring technology adoption.

● B2B Café: A curated business-matching and executive networking platform connecting technology providers with potential customers, partners, investors, and decision-makers.

● AI Workshop for Business Leaders, Educators, and Marketers: Practical learning opportunities focused on applying AI across professional roles and industries.

● LoRaWAN Masterclass facilitated by Carl Rowan: A deeper look at the technology enabling large-scale IoT deployments.

● packetHACKS Level Up: A hands-on opportunity for the developer community, with LoRaWAN developer kits included with registration.

● Community showcases: Show and Tell sessions, Developer Spotlights, and live demonstrations featuring technology communities and associations.

The two-day plenary program will examine technology adoption across manufacturing, logistics and supply chain, financial services, healthcare, energy, retail, MSMEs, and smart cities.

Discussions will cover intelligent operations, connected customer experience, data-driven decisions, ethical AI and governance, the future-ready workforce, AIoT applications in marketing and creative services, and enterprise security, sustainability, and emerging technologies.

The program will feature experts and advocates from the LoRa Alliance®, the Philippine AI Business Association, and other local and international technology organizations. Connecting research, industry, and communities

For Dr. Franz A. de Leon, Director of the Department of Science and Technology–Advanced Science and Technology Institute (DOST-ASTI), the event offers an opportunity to strengthen collaboration among government, industry, and academe. “DOST-ASTI is looking forward to participating in this year’s IoTCon Philippines, especially as it will be held alongside the inaugural AI Philippine Expo. For a government R&D institution like ours, events like this provide valuable opportunities to engage with industry, enterprises, and the academe. They allow us to exchange best practices, share knowledge, and strengthen our networks,” said Dr. de Leon.

“These engagements can help foster greater understanding and adoption of AIoT technologies, while creating opportunities to translate research and innovation into practical solutions that address the challenges faced by our communities.” Elaine Cedillo, founder of Redwizard Events and overall event organizer, said the program is designed to combine learning with meaningful business connections. “We want participants to understand what these technologies can do, learn how they apply to their industries, and connect with people who can help them move forward,” said Cedillo. “The exhibitions, workshops, plenary discussions, and business-matching activities are designed to bring these opportunities together.”

Building the ecosystem for the next generation

Alongside its enterprise focus, the event will provide a platform for developers, students, and technology communities to share ideas, demonstrate applications, and engage with industry.

“We want enterprise leaders to discover solutions they can apply to their businesses, while giving developers, students, and technology communities opportunities to showcase their work and connect with industry,” said Maria Raisa Helga Ysaac-Orbon, Chief Marketing Officer of Packetworx, Inc. “Bringing these groups together helps build the talent, partnerships, and practical applications needed to grow the Philippines’ AI and IoT ecosystem.”

By connecting business needs with technology capabilities, research, and emerging talent, the event aims to help organizations move beyond experimentation toward practical adoption.
