Camp Kamagong Resort & Events Place
Camp Kamagong Resort and Event’s Place is one of the top resorts in the City of Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
Located in Sitio Kamagong, Barangay San Joaquin, the resort invites guests to relax in a luxurious, crystal-clear, saltwater pool with a shade big enough to shield swimmers from the heat of the sun.

Resort owner Wilma Malbeda De Castro takes pride in the Kamagong Resort’s spacious cottages and rooms, as well as its clean restrooms.
De Castro related that she and her husband had lived in Batangas City, until the extended shutdowns—brought by the COVID-19 pandemic—made them decide to come back to their farm in sitio Kamagong.
Between planting and enjoying the cool breeze amid green scenery, the couple decided to develop the farm into a resort.
“My 12-year-old son and my husband would come and put up tents, while enjoying the surroundings and the spacious pool. Because camping was a preferred activity, we named it Camp Kamagong since it is located in sitio Kamagong,” De Castro said.
She added that their resort benefited from the support of the city government. “I was surprised when they came here and asked if they can promote the place. Next thing I discovered, they had posted pictures of Camp Kamagong in the city Facebook page. Suddenly, my phone started ringing with inquiries. Satisfied guests who shared their experience in Social Media led to more guests. It did not take long before Camp Kamagong became known to tourists who enjoy its cool weather, serene atmosphere, and the chirping of birds. Totoo, ang laki ng tulong na nabigay ng city government sa amin [True, the city government helped us a lot] in promoting Camp Kamagong.”
