Foundever® in the Philippines Transforms Lives of 4Ps Beneficiaries through Learn2Employ Program

Foundever® in the Philippines recently launched its Learn2Employ initiative to help improve the career prospects of 4Ps beneficiaries through comprehensive job readiness training.

Implemented in July and August at Alabang Central Market and Mandaluyong City Protection Center for Women, Children, and LGBTQIA+, the initiative is part of the broader 4Ps beneficiaries’ program designed to equip individuals with skills needed to meet customer experience (CX) industry standards.

The program successfully trained 124 participants. 74 trainees came from Muntinlupa City and 50 from Mandaluyong. All participants were invited to apply for positions at Foundever following the training: seven were successfully hired, demonstrating the program’s direct impact on employment outcomes.

“The Learn2Employ initiative represents our commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for every Filipino, regardless of their background,” said Willy Lim, Vice President for HR, Marketing and Talent Acquisition of Foundever in the Philippines, China and Malaysia. “We believe that with the right training and support, 4Ps beneficiaries can become valuable contributors to the BPO industry while building sustainable careers for their families,” he added.

Foundever and its Learn2Employ program addresses critical workforce development needs by providing practical skills training specifically tailored to BPO sector requirements. Participants gained exposure to customer service fundamentals, communication skills, and industry-specific competencies that enhance their employability across the customer experience sector.

“Seeing seven of our trainees transition directly into employment with us is incredibly rewarding, but the real success is in empowering all 124 participants with skills they can use throughout their careers,” added Lim. “This initiative demonstrates how targeted skills development can create pathways to economic mobility and growth for underserved communities.”

The Learn2Employ initiative reinforces Foundever in the Philippines’ dedication to inclusive workforce development, showcasing how strategic partnerships with government programs can create tangible employment opportunities while addressing broader social and economic challenges across Filipino communities.
