Sun Life Grepa Financial, Inc. (Sun Life Grepa), one of the country’s major life insurance companies, partnered with world-renowned oncologist and cancer specialist Dr. Ang Peng Tiam for a two-day learning session on cancer care held on November 7 and 8, 2025.
Titled “Beating the Big C: Modern Technologies in Cancer Treatment”, the event highlighted the latest breakthroughs in cancer care and explored how cutting-edge technologies are transforming treatment outcomes, offering renewed hope for patients and families alike.
Dr Ang, who serves as Medical Director and Senior Consultant, Medical Oncologist at Parkway Cancer Centre, shared valuable insights on the role of technology in early detection, precision medicine, and personalized cancer therapy. He also conducted free medical consultations for select attendees, providing them with expert guidance and compassionate care.
The two-day event gathered clients, partners, and advisors in an engaging and informative discussion designed to raise awareness about cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
