60B returned to PhilHealth according to the order of President Marcos Jr, strengthening health services

VIA GRAPHIC PLUS — The ₱60 billion from the National Treasury has officially been returned to PhilHealth in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. This step is a clear statement of the President’s trust that PhilHealth will fulfill its mandate to be a partner of every Filipino in health care needs.

PhilHealth thanks the President for his clear directive to use these funds to improve health services so that they may reach every Filipino. Likewise, the Corporation recognizes the important role of the Department of Finance in the immediate remittance of the said amount.

PhilHealth affirms its commitment to safeguard the trust given by the President and the people. The Corporation will ensure that every peso of this will be allocated to improving benefits, strengthening systems to speed up processes, and delivering to every Filipino service that is fast, fair, and truly trustworthy.
