TAYM PERS 5 invites audiences to rest, reflect in NCCA Gallery launch

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Gallery is set to open the TAYM PERS 5 exhibit on June 4, 2026, bringing together the latest works of the Alpas Art Group in an exhibition that explores the significance of rest, reflection, and mindful engagement in an increasingly fast-paced world.

Drawing inspiration from the Filipino playground expression “taym pers” or “time out,” the exhibition presents the pause not as an interruption, but as a meaningful space for reflection, creativity, and renewal. Through diverse artistic approaches and personal narratives, the participating artists examine how individuals navigate time, memory, and human connection amid rapid social and technological change.

TAYM PERS 5 continues the series’ commitment to foster dialogue on contemporary realities through art. The exhibition invites audiences to slow down, contemplate, and rediscover the value of presence in everyday life.
