Inspired by Kadayawan’s celebration of life, gratitude, and a bountiful harvest, the Crawl spotlights the region’s abundance of delicacies, quality craftsmanship, and cultural diversity.
Celebrated every August, Kadayawan Festival pays tribute to Davao’s 11 Indigenous tribes, honoring their traditions through music, dance, and artistry. Kultura’s Kadayawan Crawl carries this celebration forward by giving both locals and visitors a destination where they can experience and be inspired by the rich, unique culture of Davao.
Join the Kadayawan Crawl on opening day, August 8, for a performance by Ilathala Performing Arts, known for their traditional Mindanao dances accompanied by live percussion and native instruments.
As a festival rooted in thanksgiving for the region’s agricultural abundance, Kadayawan is also acclaimed for its vibrant food scene.
Throughout the Crawl, guests can enjoy daily sampling of local snacks, native treats, and beverages, from award-winning desserts by AURO Chocolate to liquor from Destileria Limtuaco, the nation’s oldest extant distillery. Visitors can also enjoy free daily access to the Pinoy-themed photobooth station that prints photos on-demand.
No celebration of Davao would be complete without chocolate. Recognized as the Chocolate Capital of the Philippines, the dessert takes center stage at Kadayawan Crawl with a special display by Malagos Chocolate.
