Last August 15, Victory Liner Pasay stopped dispatching buses during weekdays (Mondays to Fridays) from 5:30 am to 10 am and from 4:30-9:00 pm.  This is in compliance with the order of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) banning the entry of provincial buses in between Edsa Pasay to Cubao from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, 6pm to 9pm, Mondays to Fridays.

The said MMDA order aims to ease up traffic congestion during rush hours along EDSA. MMDA expects traffic to worsen from Cubao in Quezon City to Pasay City due to various road repairs at EDSA, which began on August 15.

Some of the road repairs include the drainage infrastructure repair of the North Luzon Expressway from A. Bonifacio Avenue and the construction of an elevated guideway for the Metro Rail Transit line 7 along North Avenue, which began last July 2.

This August, repairs and the replacement of the Buendia Avenue bridge in Makati is expected to commence.  Leak repairs on the Shaw portion of EDSA are also being undertaken by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Victory Liner will also adjust its trip schedules bound for Pasay City coming from Northern Luzon to ensure that no Victory Liner bus will be in EDSA during these window hours.

Victory Liner is advising their customers from Northern Luzon to take our Cubao, Caloocan our Sampaloc route buses instead. From their Cubao bus terminal, commuters will have to ride other buses going to Makati City.
