Allianz PNB Life continues to be the country’s fastest-growing life insurance company, evident through the remarkable numbers shown in its 2021 Annual Report.

The company has announced that its total premium income in 2021 reached ₱30 billion, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic on the company and the economic difficulties that plagued the Philippines because of protracted lockdowns and other community quarantine restrictions throughout 2020 and 2021.

Allianz PNB Life was also able to maintain this strong performance for the second year in a row and according to its 2021 Annual Report, the company is also among the top five companies that provide life and health insurance in the Philippines.

Allianz has also been ranked first among more than 125 insurance companies in the 2021 Dow Jones Sustainability Index, and it has been named as the number one insurance brand for the third consecutive year and 34th among the Top 100 Global Brands, according to Interbrand’s 2021 Best Global Brands.

The 2021 Annual Report also revealed a 51% increase in Total Assets, a 90% rise in Total Premium Income, a 73% growth in New Business Annual Premium Equivalent with over ₱1.28 billion paid Net Life Insurance Contract Benefits and Claims, and a ₱30 billion Gross Written Premium and Php 107 million Net Income.

As a testament to Allianz PNB Life’s excellence and sustainability efforts, it has won several awards in the past year. Some of these are the Philippines Brand Experience of the Year, Life Insurance Award, Asian Experience Awards by The Asian Business, and CSR Initiative of the Year—Philippines award for Ride Safe campaign by the Insurance Asia Awards 2021.

“Allianz PNB Life’s commitment to providing its customers the chance to create a brighter future for them and their families has always been our number one goal. We are making this possible through our ‘Outperform, Transform, Rebalance’ strategy,” Allianz PNB Life President and CEO Alexander Grenz said.

“We have always set our eyes on remaining as the fastest-growing life insurance company in the Philippines. We will continue to do so by strengthening efforts to expand our pool of Agency Life Changers, work on increasing digitization, and becoming protection and health champions by delivering the best possible experience to our customers,” he added.
