This event coincided with the face-to-face flag raising ceremony of DepEd La Union on August 15, 2022.

La Union is the first division that was provided with the big books for the school year 2022 to 2023, along with the Value of Hard Work and Discipline workbooks.

This is in line with the company’s continued support to La Union Division’s Reading Recovery Program and to the nationwide implementation of Brigada Pagbasa, an offshoot of Brigada Eskwela.

Fortune Life EVP-COO Abad hopes to inspire the youth on the life lessons shared through the childhood experiences and stories of the company’s founder, Amb. Cabangon Chua, depicted in the big book.

On behalf of La Union Schools Division, Atty. Balderas expressed his utmost appreciation for Fortune Life and Marylindbert Int’l for this meaningful partnership in time for the opening of classes and awarded the certificates of appreciation to the said firms’ respective representatives.
