The Commemorative Summit for the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation Gala Dinner

On Dec. 17, from 7:05 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., gala dinner was held, hosted by Prime Minister KISHIDA Fumio and his spouse, Mrs. KISHIDA Yuko, for attendees of the Commemorative Summit for the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation.

The gala dinner was attended by approximately 200 guests, including the participating leaders and their partners, as well as representatives from political parties, related organizations, private companies, and cultural figures.

  1. At the gala dinner, Prime Minister Kishida gave an address, followed by performances commemorating the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation: performance by “SIRO-A” using projection mapping; dance performance by Tezukayama Gakuin High School Dance Club; and performance by Japanese traditional instrument musicians “AUNJ CLASSIC ORCHESTRA.”
  2. The banquet featured dishes prepared with plenty of products that represent Japanese cuisine, such as scallops and wagyu beef. This gala dinner was an opportunity to entertain the guests with performances and cuisine, celebrating the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation marking as a historical milestone.
