Fortune Life takes part in the 16th PLIA Badminton Tournament

Providing a platform for players of member-companies to develop and showcase their badminton skills and sportsmanship, the Philippine Life Insurance Association (PLIA) hosted its 16th Badminton Tournament at Centro Atletico Court in Quezon City on June 1, 2024. Fortune Life Insurance Co., Inc. was among the 11 insurance companies that actively participated in this event.

The Fortune Life Badminton Team, consists of Celso Carlos Magcalas, Odilon Garcia, Esmeralda Gatus and Mary May Rabutazo, competed with other players from 11 life insurance companies in the Men’s and Women’s Doubles categories. In the Men’s Doubles, Fortune Life secured 11th place out of 19 pairs, while in the Women’s Doubles, the team achieved an impressive 3rd place out of 8 pairs.

Fortune Life is part of the ALC Group of Companies founded by the late Amb. Antonio L. Cabangon Chua and is currently chaired by D. Edgard A. Cabangon.
